Abstract: Develop the centerpiece technology for an integrated biorefinery concept based on Indirect Liquefaction (IDL) that produces a suite of cost-competitive bio-fuels (gasoline and distillate with modeled MFSP <$2.50/GGE by 2022) and co-products (e.g., butadiene, 1-butene, 2-ethylhexanol), and that can be market-responsive by controlling the product distribution to meet market demand.
